A skin oil made from the kernels of tamanu (Calophyllum inophyllum), a coastal tree native to the Philippines and other tropical parts of Asia.

Locally known as Bitaog or Palo Maria, tamanu has long been associated with traditional oil preparation in coastal communities. The kernels are dried over time before pressing, producing a dense green oil with a naturally distinctive aroma.

This oil is manually extracted from locally harvested fruits and pressed without heat, allowing the oil to retain its natural color and composition.

• 100% pure cold-pressed tamanu oil
• Extracted without heat
• Naturally green in color
• Distinctive nutty and earthy aroma
• Packed in a 30 mL glass bottle with dropper

Skin Feel & Use

Tamanu oil has a richer and heavier texture compared to lighter carrier oils.

Commonly used for:

• facial moisturizing
• dry or rough areas of skin
• evening skin routines
• targeted skin application

Because the oil is dense and concentrated, only a small amount is usually needed during application.

How to Use

For facial application
Apply 1–3 drops onto the fingers or palm and spread lightly across the skin.

For focused areas
Apply directly onto dry areas and massage gently.

Frequency
Use once or twice daily depending on preference.

For external use only. Do not ingest.

Why It Works

Tamanu oil naturally contains fatty components that allow it to remain on the skin surface longer during application.

Because the oil is extracted without heat:

• the natural aroma is retained
• the oil maintains its green coloration
• minimal processing is involved during production

Its heavier consistency allows slower absorption compared to lighter oils such as grapeseed or sunflower oil.

Botanical Origin

Tamanu (Calophyllum inophyllum) is a tropical tree commonly found near coastal areas throughout the Philippines.

The oil is obtained from the kernels of the fruit after drying and preparation. Traditional methods of extraction have existed in many parts of Southeast Asia and the Pacific for generations.
